STAR Soccer Fields


Alcohol Policy

Alcohol may not be brought in or out of the STAR Soccer Complex.

Automated Teller Machine

STAR Soccer has an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) inside the concession area of the park.

Banner/Flag Policy

Banner and flags are encouraged, provided they are not commercial, offensive, or in poor taste. Banners and/or flags may not obstruct the view of any guests, stadium signage, or present any safety hazards. For safety reasons you may only attach a banner and/or flag to a bendable pipe material such as PVC. STAR Soccer reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate any sign, banner, or flag for any reason.

Clothing

Guests are prohibited from wearing any clothing displaying profane or offensive material. Guests wearing prohibited clothing may be denied entry into the facility until the profane or offensive material is no longer visible. Guests found within the facility wearing clothing displaying items that can be construed as profane, or offensive will be asked to provide a solution where the items will no longer be displayed. If no solution can be found or the solution does not meet the satisfaction of management, the guest may be ejected from the facility. Shirts and shoes are always required.

Code of Conduct

All STAR Soccer guests are expected to maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Any behavior defying the code of conduct, as determined by facility management, can result in ejection and possible arrest. Guests who are ejected from the facility will not be compensated in any way. Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Drunk and/or disorderly conduct
  • Fighting or challenging others to fight
  • Interference with the event, or participants of the event in any way
  • Throwing Objects/Projectiles—Throwing objects within the facility or onto the field is strictly prohibited. Guests found throwing any object within the facility will be ejected and subject to arrest.
  • Using profanity and/or other offensive, racial, obscene, or abusive gestures or language toward or in reference to players, coaches, referees, fans, performers, or staff members
  • Disturbing other guests’ enjoyment of the event
  • Violating STAR Soccer Park rules, regulations, or policies
  • Violating any local, state, or federal laws
  • Infractions of above policies will result in actions up to and including ejection from the property.

Ejections

Attending an event at STAR Soccer should be an enjoyable and safe experience for all. It is our goal to avoid ejections or arrests. However, it is of primary importance that each guest is able to enjoy a quality experience while in attendance. Therefore, a code of conduct will be enforced that emphasizes good sportsmanship and generally accepted standards of behavior.

STAR Soccer management reserves the right to deny entry of any guest displaying inappropriate behavior, as determined by facility/event management.

Concessions

An indoor concession area within the park offers beverages, snacks, pre-packaged food and various sundry items. We also have vending machines on the complex as well. You may use cash and/or credit cards at the fixed concessions locations and cash only at the vending locations. Hours of operation for concession sales will vary depending on the schedule of events. An ATM machine is located within the concession area.

Credit Cards

Credit cards are accepted at the concession area. Accepted cards include: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Disabled Accommodations

STAR Soccer is committed to providing every guest with comfortable and enjoyable experience at its facility. STAR Soccer meets all ADA requirements. Please contact us ahead of time if you need any special accommodations.

Field Access Policy

Stadium guests are not permitted access to the playing field at any time unless they have the appropriate credentials. Fields not in use by official games will not be available for recreational, non-sanctioned activities. We do have two playground areas in the park for spectators to enjoy if not engaged in field activities. Anyone entering the field without proper credentials is subject to removal from the stadium and arrest.

Fighting

Any guests involved in physical or verbal altercations are subject to ejection and arrest. See “Code of Conduct”.

Intoxicated Guests

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the grounds at STAR Soccer. Any guest who is intoxicated/impaired entering STAR Soccer will be denied entry to the facility. Any guests found intoxicated/impaired within STAR Soccer and causing a disturbance, determined by management, will be asked to leave the facility without refund and may be subject to further consequences, such as arrest.

Marketing/Sponsorship/Pamphlets

No unapproved marketing will be allowed on STAR Soccer property. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unauthorized distribution of literature, business cards, flyers, handouts of any kind, pamphlets, other written forms, etc.
  • Placing of any unapproved material on car windshields.
  • Possessing banners, flags, signs, or posters displaying words or pictures associated with commercial advertising.
  • Product sampling of any kind. All cases are subject to review and decision by facility/event management. Guests found to be marketing may be subject to ejection and removal from STAR Soccer.

Guests found passing out literature or any written forms of unauthorized marketing will be asked to collect all pieces of marketing handed out and dispose of them in the trash. If necessary, the guest or marketing company is subject to being billed by STAR Soccer for any additional clean-up costs.

Pets

Service animals (i.e. guide dogs) are the only pets allowed into STAR Soccer complex.

Profanity/Offensive Language and Gestures

Prohibited Items

STAR Soccer, in conjunction with San Antonio law enforcement officials, is dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment in which to enjoy events at STAR Soccer. All persons entering the facility are subject to search and questioning. Full cooperation with the authorities is appreciated and will help speed the progression of the lines.

Items NOT permitted into the facility:

  • Weapons of any kind (i.e. knives—including pocket knives, pepper spray, stun-guns, slingshots, concealed weapons, firearms, etc.)
  • Fireworks of any kind (including smoke bombs and flares)
  • No glass or alcoholic beverages of any kind
  • Illegal drugs or chemicals
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Un-approved pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, etc.
  • Skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, roller shoes, etc.
  • Whistles

Anyone with an item that does not pass security measures will be asked to either take the item back to his or her vehicle or dispose of it before entering STAR Soccer. Purses, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags or any other bags may be brought into the stadium, but will be subject to search. Please be aware that prohibited items, policies and security parameters may be modified from event to event as security levels change.

Recycle

STAR Soccer is a Green-Friendly sports venue. Please recycle your empty plastic bottles or cups in any of the recycling bins located throughout the facility.

Smoking Policy

Smoking or the chewing of tobacco is not permitted in the STAR Soccer Complex.

Strollers

Strollers are permitted for younger children. As a safety measure, we ask that you be considerate with the usage and parking location of strollers as to not infringe upon other guests’ experiences.

Tailgating

Pre-match tailgating is permitted if conducted in a safe and respectful manner and does not disrupt other fans, interfere with normal parking procedures or extend into additional spaces. Outside food companies are not permitted to deliver catering orders for tailgate activities. All tailgating activities must comply with proper fan decorum. No open flame grills allowed.

Team Bus Parking

During large tournament events, team bus parking will be in a designated area. All bus drivers are asked to comply with such guidelines when instructed to do so. Spaces will be provided and marked exclusively for team buses.

Vendors

Only pre-approved vendors will be allowed to engage in business at STAR Soccer. All unapproved vendors will be requested to dismantle their set ups and move off property. In special circumstances, approved vendors will be allowed to operate. Please contact STAR Soccer management in advance for consideration.

Wi-Fi

Wireless internet connection is available and complimentary to visitors at STAR Soccer complex.
